Privacy Policy Capsport

Capsport attaches great importance to the privacy of your personal data. This Privacy Policy describes how your Personal Data is collected, used and disclosed to others when you use our services or visit or purchase something from capsport.nl (the "Site"). 

What personal data we collect

Capsport offers various services that you can use in different ways. In addition, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products you view, the websites or search terms that brought you to the Site, and information about your interaction with the Site. When we talk about "Personal Information" in this Privacy Policy, we mean both Device Information and Order Information. 

How we use your personal data 

We generally use the Order Information we collect to fulfill orders placed through the Site, including to process your payment information, prepare for shipment, and provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations. We also use this Order Information to:

  • check orders for potential risks or fraud; 
  • send you information and advertisements about our products or services, according to the preferences you have indicated. 

We use the collected Device Information, in particular your IP address, to monitor for potential risk and fraud, and more generally to improve and optimize our Site, for example by generating analytics about how our customers navigate the Site and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns. 

To whom we disclose your personal data 

We provide your Personal Data to third parties who help us use your Personal Data as described above. For example, we use Shopify to operate our online store. In addition, if you live in the EU, we note that we process your personal data for the performance of agreements we have with you, for example if you order something through the website, or for the purposes of our legitimate interests listed above. Please note that your Personal Data may be transferred to countries outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States. 

Retention periods 

When you place an order through the Site, we will retain your Order Information until you ask us to delete this information. 

Amendments 

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, for example because we change our data practices or for other operational reasons or as required by law or regulation.
